Logo Design Brief
Current company is Jade Computers. See www.jadecomputers.co.uk. We are changing to Jade Technology Ltd and getting a warehouse for computer repairs and a retail store for computer and general electrical goods. iPods, Kitchen Appliances, LCD TVs etc.
As a company we hold a number of contracts with businesses for computer repairs and maintenance. We also retail computer and electrical goods to the general public and will increase this via a web store with the launch of Jade Technology. We are a family run businesses and have operated in our local town for 10 years now.
I realise Jade initially triggers Jade Green as a colour but Im not necessarily looking for green to be in the logo - throwing it open to all options for designs and colour so dont want designs limited to green if you think other colours would be better. I dont want any text, apart from Jade Technology to be in the logo as we will add a strap line later.
I will need to know fonts used in the selected design so we can keep continuity for other marketing material.
A brief description of why you feel your design is right for us will help secure the logo being accepted.

Hi,
Logos are looking great so far. Ive had a few submissions in green..this is natural as Jade would represent the colour green. I fully understand the thinking behind this but dont want to limit designs to green.
I want the logo to be bold and give us a strong branding base to work from. If you look at Currys, Comet or PC World for example they are simple logos but effective in what they put across. We are looking to branch into multiple sites/stores so need the logo to initially work on the 2 buildings listed in the attached file but also be universal for future premises.
The winning logo will stick in peoples minds and portray a professional, friendly company which has a strong base and will run over multiple sites.
I am looking to choose the winning design soon as I need to get signs done and select colour schemes for other aspects.
