Logo Design Brief

We need a logo designed for an internal software service named "Kraken"; it'll be used for internal communications, laptop decals, t-shirts. We are thinking something more cartoonish and simple but not overly cutesy, one or two tone. It would ideally look good as a round sticker. Bonus if it incorporates one or more normal curves (e.g., perhaps as tentacles or waves), but not a requirement.
