Logo Design Brief
We need a logo design for our new online store. We sell mostly collectible items, ranging anywhere from a $5 keyring to a $500 handbag. Our customers are people who like certain brands (e.g., Disney, Victoria's Secret, Hello Kitty, Nike, etc.) and like to buy things associated with those brands (e.g., mugs, clothing, souvenirs, jewelry, accessories, home decor, etc.).
We want our logo to embody two concepts: (1) the name, Kea-Loa (which is a combination of the names of two volcanoes in Hawaii - the Mauna Loa and the Mauna Kea), should be represented by something that symbolizes a strong, solid foundation; and (2) the spirit of our company, which is happy and fun, maybe even a bit whimsical/magical. We think (hope) that the things we sell make people happy. Our motto is - "Think of Happy Things."

- A fun, happy look, but not overly comical or cartoonish. Although we want the logo to invoke a feeling of light-hearted fun and maybe even a bit of fantasy/magic (like pixie dust), we want it to appeal to adults, not children, so it should also be classy and mature.
