Poster Design Brief
My squadron, 434th FTS USAF, is celebrating it's 75th anniversary. As a result, we are going to paint a modern day T-6 Texan II like a P-51, the same aircraft my squadron flew in WWII. I have attached a power point of my best attempt of making a rendering of the design. Below is a written discription of what we have planned. I am asking to have a design much like the third slide showing all three axises of the aircraft's paint scheme. However, the big selling point will be to have a T-6 with the new paint scheme positioned like the aircraft found in the picture on the first slide. Let me know if there is any thing else you need to help make the design happen. Thanks for your help and I need this at your soonest convenience.
For the tail paint design, we request that tail to be painted gray, similar to the gun metal gray of a P-51, with the rudder painted red. Centered in the gray portion, the 434th original squadron patch. Above the squadron patch and across the entire tail, two blue lines with "75th ANNIVERSARY" in white lettering in the middle. In addition, "1943 - 2018" centered in the tail below the bottom blue line in white lettering. Below the squadron patch, "434 FTS" in white letter with a blue outline on the gray portion of the tail. For the nose art, "SCAT" written in the style as close to the pictures provided. Lastly, the entire body to be painted gun metal gray with current positions of the star emblem to be left alone and in the same color. Also, the current letter positions of the "U.S. AIR FORCE" and "USAF" to be left in the same position, but painted black. In addition, the top of the nose cowling to be painted black.
