Logo Design Brief

I need a logo design for a residential construction business. Have a current logo but not happy with it. (I'll attach the file.) I like the idea of it being a circle, or a quality "stamp of approval." Logo will be going onto black trucks and trailers. Colors must work for black background as of right now.
