Logo Design Brief

We are in the flooring business. This logo would be for a program that we have developed to offer flooring products and installation that minimized slips and trips problems in customers' homes. SAFE is an acronym (S.A.F.E.). We wouldn't put a slogan with the logo, but if we did it would be something like "Your Partner in Fall Prevention" and will eventually do a certification around the program (for example "A Certified SAFE Flooring for Seniors Provider" or similar. This logo would be used on our website, for its own page and as a program offering of our website. Also on print rack cards and table-top signage advertising the program.

Target Market(s)

Senior citizens and 40-48 year old females that typically care for and make decisions for the senior citizens in their families. Middle to upper income target (>50,000 USD)

Requirements

Must have

• the logo text and be small enough to include alongside other logos placed on my business card.
• SAFE and FLOORING need to be the same size and prominence in the logo. SAFE can be a different color if you want to experiment with that.
• Since my company's colors are red, black and white, I would like to go back to that palate. You are welcome to pull red from our "40-years" logo on our website. (PRIMARY COLOR is #AF1119, rgb(175, 17, 25); darker red if needed is #610000 (rgb 97,0,0); bright is #f9efde (rgb 249,239,222); in addition to black and white.
• I am also looking to use a version of this logo as a single color to use as watermark. This would also allow it to print on business cards as a secondary logo.

Nice to have

• "shield" concept ; a logo that looks like a floor or conjures up thoughts of safe flooring that at some point may be even used separately from the title of the program (just like Apple's logo represents them but doesn't say the title "Apple" always).
• In presenting logo and words, I would rather logo be off the left of the words, similar to "Design Crowd" on this website (logo first, then words). THANKS
