Logo Design Brief

We are a specialty Sand company looking at creating a TRADITIONAL / INDUSTRIAL design logo for our clothing line. Our company makes it's own soils and sands as well as supplying bulk quarry materials with our large fleet of Kenworth trucks. Our company is also involved in excavation and civil works. We've been in operation for over 25 years and we are hoping to find a black and white logo which helps reflect this, whilst being modern enough for today's fashion.

Established in 1993 (this could be used in logo design)

We are open to picture (illustration) + text designs
We are also open to text only designs.

Possible symbols for picture design:
Trucks (tippers)
Machinery (loaders, excavators, dozers, screening plants)
Sand (anything remotely to do with Sands)

We are wanting our design to convey the sense of an older fashioned/reliable company, whilst still reaching today's fashion market.

We are big admirers of Deus Ex Machina's Logos.
