Logo Design Brief
We need a completely new, fresh creative logo for a church in the located in the South Plains of West Texas. Our church is casual, informal, and friendly.
We will need the vector files that you create so that we can move things around, change colors, and customize it for different dimensions and backgrounds.
We really want the symbol to be AMAZING and modern.
Lastly, we'll need copies of the logo as just white so we can put them on black backgrounds too.
Logos should communicate an edgy, cool feel.

Must have
- A curved cross above the words. The cross should be made up of gaps in the background. The background should be a diamond, circle, elliptical, or abstract shape.
- The vertical part of the cross should curve to the right and shrink as it ascends, giving the impression that it is a road going off into the distance.
- The horizontal part of the cross should make a gentle arc. It should shrink as it moves to the right.
- The two halves of the background should be two different colors.
- See the attached file for an idea of what I'm looking for with the image.
- The word BROADVIEW should be one consistent color (perhaps the same color as one of the colors in the image). It should be in all caps using the Cinzel Bold font (download for free at Font Squirrel).
- The words BAPTIST CHURCH should be one consistent color (perhaps the other color in the image). It should be in all caps using the same font, but be smaller than the word BROADVIEW. The words BAPTIST CHURCH should be on one line underneath BROADVIEW, and they should be spread out across the same width as BROADVIEW.
- I must have the vector files so I can tweak the logo for different projects.
Nice to have
- Beneath the cross may be some waves or perhaps a shadow effect.
Should not have
- Any type of clip-art feel. Not too "busy." (I've seen some that have an image of Jesus and the Bible and a cross and a pathway and a sunrise, all in one logo.)
