Flyer Design Brief

We need a flyer to promote a monthly giving program called Empowerment Partners to support our nonprofit organization, Empower African Children. We have a group of students from Uganda travelling across the country in a performing arts group called Spirit of Uganda. While they are on tour we want audience members to sign up to become monthly donors and support our ongoing educational work in Uganda. This flyer will be on the info table, in seats, and handed out throughout the course of the tour.

Empowerment Partners is a new program. The idea is that the audience members will be motivated by their interaction with the students to fill in their information to sign up to make a monthly gift. In exchange, we'll give them a free merchandise item (CD, tshirt, etc) for signing up and we'll send them special updates from the students throughout the year electronically.

This will be printed as a 5x7 two-sided postcard that we can print cheaply in color.

Side 1: Draw attention to the program graphically with a message of "Join Us Become an Empowerment Partner," happy student image, etc. You can download an image from the gallery on our website, if you choose at: http://www.empowerafricanchildren.org/who-we-are/media/ (scroll to the bottom)

Side 2: Lead in text: Join our network of friends committed to supporting the ongoing education of Empower scholars through monthly donations. As an Empowerment Partner, you play a critical role by helping ensure that we can provide the life-changing services to our scholars month in and month out.
We'll send you special updates from the students throughout the year to keep you up to date on how your gifts are impacting lives.

Requirements

Nice to have

• We have not created a logo or done any branding for Empowerment Partners so it would be nice to have a nicely designed logo/font for Empowerment Partners incorporated into the flyer design that we can in other places as well to promote the program.

Should not have

• Anything that play on the poverty or challenges in Africa. We try to provide always positive image of Africa and the students we work with.
