Logo Design Brief

I require a logo design for my new business 'Sluggos' based in Sydney, which specialises in Bacon and Egg Rolls. My business name is derived from my grandfathers nickname, Sluggo, who grew up in the Sydney Inner West suburb of Balmain. He was a very community orientated person, and it is my goal that my business reflects this his community minded personality.

I would like the logo itself to look almost punkish / edgy, with elements of a urban hip hop theme. I am really into old school tattoo designs, so it would be great if my logo could reflect that.

I am aiming to eventually have a 'destinational' business that is recognised for great bacon and egg rolls through a clever and cool logo. I have attached some logos of a local brewery and restaurant that I think have a very clever design.
