Logo Design Brief

Hello,

I live in a lakeside condominium community "Idylwood Place", just outside Seattle that is looking for a fresh new logo. We want to use it to make a new entry sign, and eventually a website. We want something that looks clean and contemporary, and but that also helps us projects a “welcome”, “warm feel” that reflects our lifestyle.

We are located across the street from a lush public park (Idylwood Park) that has access to a large lake (Lake Sammamish). We want the logo to in a subtle way, to reflect a “lakeside”, “public park” feel, without being too blatant about it.

I have included some links to photos of our existing sign and logo, our building, and some shots of the park / lake, and a link to google street view. Also attached a link to the public park’s website in case your looking for more inspiration. (may need to copy and paste the links)

The sign may not end up being printed in color, but we would still like to have a color version for the website. We are not married to particular colors, but like the idea of cool greys and cool colors, but please let your inspiration be your guide!
