Art Design Brief

We are installing a mural as a community project. We'd like the artwork to be something compelling, inviting and eye-catching but not a piece that would require a professional artist to execute. Vector style graphics would be ideal. Our branded colors are red, white and gray. The town is called Groesbeck and we are a typical small Texas town engrossed in agriculture, rodeo, community & Friday Night lights. We are growing into the city where "progress and history join hands" so we're looking for a progressive attraction with the imagery. I've attached some shots of the area to be painted as well as few pieces of artwork that are in a local business that give great effect for inspiration. We love the red pops of color and simple, rural feel. The aesthetic we're hoping to pull off something clean and bold. Target Market(s)

Centrist. It's a small, rural community with a growing progressive and edgy flair. Locals should be proud of a better looking area. Tourists should be delighted and feel invited into the space.

Requirements

Must have

• Simple color scheme. Red, Shades of grey, white (not too much black - a neighboring town is red and black)

Nice to have

• Bold lettering, nice typography, a not to the "history and progress" slogan

Should not have

• Intricate, photo-realistic art or renderings, typical small town "ag and farm" stuff
