Web Design Brief
I need a website design for my law firm. I have attached to this description the URL of a website I liked with a description of the elements of that website that appeal to me.
I am also attaching my law firm's logo, so you can review that design when you create the website design.
Reference Site: www.divorcelawfirmjacksonville.com
What we like about this site:
• The different layers
• Subtle designs, textures, curves
• 3 dimensional
• Floating effect
• Simple logo that stands out (we are providing logo)
• Prominent phone number
• Location of Areas of Practice
oDivorce, Legal Separation, Paternity, Spousal Maintenance, Child Custody, Child Support, Protective Orders, Community Property, Business Evaluations
• The limited amount of links across the top
o Home, Meet Our Attorney, FAQ, Contact Us
• Request A Consultation click through
• Right side bar with the moving icons
• Badges
Other Tips:
• We don’t want the website to be dark. The logo can standout and the website can have its own colors and flow.
• We would like there to be a “call to action” or way to get in touch on every page and every page view
• We would like a place for credit card icons at the bottom of the page
• Strong, yet elegant
• Finally, just use the website provided as a guide. Explore different colors, textures, shapes, shadows etc.
Updates
I would prefer the website have colors that are complementary to my logo and that are strong and elegant. I like black, gold, amber, and tan colors. Black should be used sparingly as an accent only, since I don't want the website to be too dark.
Please review the website I provided as an example in my project description. I really like the three dimensional aspects of that website (web page floating on top of a background and the logo in the upper left floating on top of the web page). I also like the use of "swirling" on the background and the webpage. I hope this additional information is helpful.
