Logo Design Brief

I need a logo for an Alaskan based freelance photography business. My business specializes in commercial photography such as real-estate, product photography, and things of that nature. I want a simple logo that is recognizable in monochrome, but my colors are sort of lighter blue and white. I am willing to take suggestions on this, however. I need it to fit inside of a Facebook profile picture with very little modification.
