Logo Design Brief

I need a logo for the Families Understanding Nutrition and Physically Active Lifestyles (FUN PALs) Playgroup. The FUN PALs Playgroup is for parents of toddler age children and their parents. Over the course of 10 playgroups, parents and toddlers will learn to eat healthy and exercise through play, hands on learning, snack preparation, eating, exercising, coaching, and group support. Ultimately, the goal is to build communities that support each other in the pursuit of a shared value for health and wellness. I want a log that evokes a sense of playfulness, family, and community.

Requirements

Must have

• The name of the program. This logo will be printed on flyers, participant workbooks, handouts, etc. It may also be added to promotion materials like cups, magnets, etc. It may also be posted on a website. I will also create a powerpoint template with the logo for presenting data from this project at conferences. So, the logo should be able to be reproduced on a variety of materials in a variety of sizes without being distorted.

Nice to have

• Cartoon characters? This may look tacky so I am not certain of this, but the name of the program is the FUN PALs Playgroup, so I figure we should have some "Pals" to represent the program.

Should not have

• Photos. I prefer graphics and cartoon figures to real images or photos.
