what did you mean by the phrase the"The logo may be a full character or just the head". Would you please explain it little bit

Hi, what I meant is that the logo/iconic character may be just the head of a character, like the Colonel from KFC.  It might also be a full body character with head arms, legs etc.  I hope that this helps clarify my brief.
