First off i would like to say i am very interested in this project, and started work designing the website yesterday. I was wondering, what images and content would you like for the sliding banner on the home page, and how many states of the banner would you like (e.g 3, 4 or 5 different images with text)

5 different images with text will be fine. Please, no photos of people :D We can work out text later, now use whatever.
