Logo Design Brief

UPDATED NOTE: imagine the text welded out of steel and set outside during a frosty morning - THAT'S the style I'm looking for. Forget about the blue-tinting except as a way to make the ice appear more icy. :::

I want to take the title "metrosynth" and make a logo of it that I will first use on top of the front cover, overlaying a watercolor-painting-style image. The style of the cover image will be watercolor but I want this to be more of a crisp, clear font. Alright, enough preamble, here's my basic idea:

The text is "METROSYNTH" and the letters should look like frozen steel, perhaps frosty at the edges but NO icicles. I'd like them to be slightly rounded, no sharp corners. And the final touch of this is an infinity symbol somehow merged with the "S" so that it's apparent but not overt (perhaps underlaid or a "black-ink" tracing overtop the steely letter).

No lens flares, please, and keep any non-monochromatic color to shades of blue.

I'm not particular on the casing, either all uppercase or all lowercase could be fine.

• - Make metal look cold, frosty, like a piece of steel left outside on a frigid morning

• - No overt coloring, blue/cyan tints ONLY to accentuate the iciness
