Logo Design Brief

I am a clinical psychologist and Assistant Professor at the University of Georgia, seeking logo design for my research lab: The EMPOWER Lab
Engaging Minorities in Prevention Outreach Workshops Evaluation & Research

I've attached a few very rough, preliminary ideas, so feel free to send back ideas/logos that are completely different from mine.The mom and dad should/could hold hands for the M and have Afrocentric hair. Maybe the mom could wear a necklace and the dad could wear a tie. The O should/could be an African American teenage girl with an Afro and muscle arms. Family members should be different shades of brown. See attached. If we could think of some way to make the last "E" or the "R" an African American male teen doing something else, that would be great. You can use your creative freedom with the rest of the letters, or leave them without 'characters'.

I'd ask that the logo background be white. Also, I'm partial to green, black, red, yellow, and purple for font and outfits/accessories that you put on the people in the logo. Think sleek and modern, but Afrocentric and fun.

Requirements

Must have

• Must have "The EMPOWER Lab" with the words for the acronym (Engaging Minorities in Prevention Outreach Workshops Evaluation & Research) included as well. Also must have some African American family members/"characters". Characters must be different shades of brown. Must be on white background. See attached images.

Nice to have

• Would be nice to have details and accessories on the 'characters'.

Should not have

• Should not have a color in background. Should not have a border.
