Plz make contest guarantee for better design submission.
Hi SonikCreations
Nice to hear from you. I am spankin' brand new at this, and don't know the ropes at all. Needed much help from Emily just to get my projects posted.
Have no real understanding of the implications of the various add-ons (like guaranteeing). If it is true that 15 or so designs should come for each project WITHOUT a guarantee - that certainly should be more than adequate, because I have pretty thoroughly roughed in what I have in mind in my mockups.
But being new at this, I obviously have no idea if I'll get ANY proposals at all. With seven (7) projects to post all at once, the prospect of losing the fees for seven (if no responses) multiplies the disaster by a factor of seven. If I KNEW I'd get responses to the projects, I'd have no trouble guaranteeing; but at this point it's such a crap shoot for me.
I do appreciate your interest, and obviously hope we can work together. But right now I'm flying completely blind on only a wing, a prayer, and high expectations - but zero experience - at this.

Plz re-upload it
Hi Jiten
And I appreciate your positive response to my reply.
Truth to tell, I am not looking for scores of design suggestions to sift through. I am simply looking for a designer or two who is PhotoShop savvy who can do what I cannot: translate mock-ups to publishable format with a little bit of flair thrown in to give the thing a more polished and professional feel. (I'd be just as happy if one designer took on all 7 projects, if he or she and I could work comfortably together.)
I have stuck with DesignCrowd for that very reason: because Emily has been so responsive to my communications.
I am in this stew to begin with because my niece (in art school) took on the 7 projects as a favor to her favorite uncle, but didn't have time to finish them. She did do a bang-up job on the covers of a few of them, #4 in particular, which I will also post shortly. She simply took my mockups out of the amateurish realm and into the professional one, mostly by simple improved presentation rather than any sort of eye-popping flash or creativity. I'm not looking for anything bedazzling: just nice tasteful execution of ideas I already have (and trust).
So it's not quantity I am in the market for, it's really just a designer with good taste who is willing to work with me on these (and future) projects.
In fact, I am so new at this I don't even know if our correspondence is just between the 2 of us or posted on the Internet for the whole world to see!

Your first link is not working...please re-upload it....thanks
OOPS!
I had no idea when previously responding to Jiten that there is a problem downloading my project files. (I thought the ("file") being referenced had to do with the "Post a Comment" section, not the actual brief!)
I will contact Emily Howman, who set up my briefs and files for me. You might do the same. This seems to be an IT issue at the DesiognCrowd end of things.

Hi, there is an error on the link: File 1: who''s been here? cd liner notes & song list monday, 05 march 2012 13:45:071
Hello Charmaine
I am very sorry that designers seem to be having difficulty downloading the files (both for Project 7 and Project 6). The DesignCrowd staff uplaoded all the files for me, because I am brand new at this, and not particularly IT-savvy.
I have asked the DesignCrowd staff (Emily Howman has helped me to this point) to try to fix the problem. I do hope that they get on it quickly. This is very disappointing to have dsigners like yourself interested, but unable to see my files!
David ("Dr. G")
Thank you for the swift response. I understand and will check when the file is sorted out.
