Logo Design Brief

I need a logo for a new minority owned small business that will be providing federal consulting services to the VA. I want the logo to be fresh and modern. Edera means IVY in Italian, so would like something that plays on the IVY theme, but does not look like green ivy. Options that include edera name in lower case letters would be interesting... but be creative! Modern look and feel with global appeal is most interesting. We have not developed our website yet. Blue, pale yellow highlights, grey, silver, or other similar colors would be best. No bright red or overwhelming color pallette.
