Logo and Business Card Design Brief

I need a logo and /business card design for my new marketing/sales consulting firm called Ehrlich Consulting Group (ECG), Inc. It is based in Encinitas, CA (suburb of San Diego, CA, USA). After 20+ years working for someone in the medical device industry, I am now consulting on my own after leaving my last company last year.

My company will provide strategic product marketing, sales and sales operations services to medical device and equipment companies. What makes me unique is that I can offer a broad commercial skill set in marketing, sales, sales operations with a finance background, whereas other consultants are much more specialized, I have breadth and depth of experience in these areas.

The companies I provide consulting services to manufacture products to be sold into hospitals, home-care, retail pharmacy, physicians and other healthcare providers. The majority of the companies I have worked for to-date are start-up companies with private equity or venture funding and do not have products on the market today. They are working to develop or have developed products and need my assistance to commercialize them into the market.

Here is a little on my background:
Allen has over 20 years of global commercial product marketing, sales operations and sales experience. He has extensive experience managing global product lines in the US, Europe, Latin America, and Asia-Pacific. He has managed product lines with sales of between $40 million and $250 Million, launched over 60+ new products driving four brands to #1 market share with ResMed, Safeskin, Kimberly-Clark and Think Outside, Inc. Brands that I managed at ResMed include the Swift, Quattro and Mirage. Brands at Safeskin included Safeskin PFE Exam Glove and Purple Nitrile Exam Glove. At Think Outside, the Stowaway Portable Keyboard. He holds an MBA in Marketing and a BS in Accounting from Indiana University, Kelley School of Business in Bloomington, Indiana. He also attended Tilburg University in the Netherlands to study international business.

The final business card design and logo, I would like it to communicate my passion and energy to deliver on results for the customer and to get things done, efficiently, faster and under budget. Many people say that I can "Wear a Lot of Different Hats" and that I get things done.

Target market for my services is start-up, small to medium size medical device companies that manufacturer or develop products for sale to hospitals/home care. Primary person requesting my services would be a CEO, President, VP Marketing or VP Sales, Director of marketing at these companies
