Logo Design Brief

I run an Australian-based blog focused on vegetable gardening and sustainable living. The address is www.500m2.com and you can see the very basic text-based logo in the top left corner.

I would like a logo that includes the text "500m2 in Sydney", but also includes visual design elements - these might include vegetables, soil, chickens, solar power, wind turbines, garden tools, etc.

****Edit****
I couple of the designs submitted have a great look and feel about them, but are missing the multiple design elements. I want to express the idea that lots of things are being done around this 'Urban Homestead' to be self-sufficient and more sustainable. The winner will be the concept that can incorporate several picture elements with the text into one logo that feels cohesive. I'm particularly keen to incorporate chickens, vegetable gardening and clean energy concepts.

Thanks!

Updates

Thank you for all your efforts so far, but most of the submissions don't seem to be meeting the brief. There are a lot of submissions with serif (times new roman type) fonts and clipart-style graphics.

I also just want to state clearly that I'm definitely after a logo that contains multiple image elements to give the impression that a lot is being done around our house to live more sustainably. I would like all the elements to fit well together around or behind the text in a cohesive way.

As an example, I like how this image works http://www.500m2.com/?attachment_id=4729
Obviously this is hugely comples, and I'm not expecting you to go to that level of complexity, but I like how the multiple images all fit together. It is important though that the image is surrounded on white on all sides so it can be pasted onto a white background.

Ideas for possible images include:
  1. vegetables, maybe carrots being pulled out of the ground, corn, tomatoes, blueberries
  2. Chickens (laying hens, not roosters)
  3. Mother with children
  4. Renewable energy concepts - sun, solar panels, wind turbine
  5. A house (red brick)
  6. A pug dog (we have a pug dog) http://wp.me/a3P5Xz-1ei
Thanks to all for your hard work so far! I look forward to seeing further submissions.

Requirements
Must have
  • The text 500m2 in Sydney. The 2 is in superscript (small, raised number to indicate 500 square meters).

Must have graphic (illustration) elements to give the idea of what the blog is about - vegetables and sustainable living.

Needs to look good with the remaining scheme of www.500m2.com because I don't plan to change the actual theme of the site. The logo should be wide rather than tall - appropriate to fit along the top banner on the blog.
Nice to have
  • Visual design elements - these might include vegetables, soil, chickens, solar power, wind turbines, garden tools, etc.

The wordpress theme I am using is the seed theme by Organic themes http://www.organicthemes.com/theme/seed-theme/

You can see that the word seed in their version has a letter 'd' that looks like a plant and the letters themselves are very fluid. I like this idea, but I am very keen to include other elements.
Should not have
  • No serif fonts like times new roman. Must look organic and natural.
