Logo Design Brief

We need a new stand alone logo design for Sky Lodge, which will be a sub-brand of Unity College. https://www.skylodgemaine.com. It is a place where we hope to do corporate retreats and conferences. We'd like a logo that celebrates the history of the place (for example, it is called sky lodge because it used to be accessed by airplane in the 50's) but also have something of Unity College (unity.edu) in the logo.

The final logo should be uniquely Sky Lodge, but should also have some element that reminds us it belongs to the College. The Unity College Tree Green is #669933.

UPDATE: I have updated the supporting documents with a few new ideas to help focus the work: one is a font that is sort of what we'd also like to see a proposal of and the other is an old sign. While we like a lot of the proposals already given, we'd like to see some additional work along the line of this font for comparison.
