Logo Design Brief

Hello Designers,

I am creating a new e-commerce shop looking to sell customised Dubrae. A dubrae is basically the metallic piece usually found on sneakers that fits on at the end of the shoe laces. (I have attached three photo examples).

Main Brief:

Please note: most of the instructions below are just guideline, except for the name. If you are feeling that you have a totally different idea of how the logo and badge should be to represent the brand, feel free to put your design forward, I'm open to ideas.

Name: ChampTag (can use all caps if you want, or even space the two words apart)

Typeface: Strong and clean, looking for a modern feel. Can have a sports feel to it too.

E-commerce Inspiration: www.stance.com,

Examples and inspiration

1: Stance logo - clean with a badge design (the typography doesn't need to be incorporated into the badge)
2: Could Use the Dubrae outline shape to replace the triangle
3: Wouldn't mind seeing a version using this a similar font (famous sports font)

Target Market(s)

The dubrae is going to feature names and numbers of famous and popular star athletes from leagues like the NBA. So i'm trying to appeal to mainly the 16-30 year old sports fans and sneaker enthusiasts.

Requirements

Must have

• Badge/Icon design:
• - Looking to have a badge or Icon design to go along with the type face. I've uploaded a design by stance socks as an example.

Nice to have

• With the badge/icon design:
• - Lion head (adding a crown is an option): I would like to see concepts with a lionhead sillouhette showing teeth. The word "champ" gives a notion of "strength" and "winning". I guess the key here is to blend in elements associated with the word "champ" or "champion" and make it a part of the lion. Such as a crown.
• - Try to incorporate some aspects of the dubrae shape into it? (If it looks to out of place, then it's not necessary)
