Logo Design Brief
We are a new veterinary hospital opening on Cape Cod (Massachusetts). We do wellness care, preventative medicine, and care for sick/injured patients. We treat dogs and cats primarily but also treat exotic animals including birds, reptiles, and small mammals like rabbits etc. The business name is "Oceanside Animal Wellness Center." I would like to see a modern, graphic image that is unique but clearly shows that it is an animal hospital (I think having a medical cross in the logo will be important for recognition since we do not have "hospital" in our name). I would like to communicate high quality, compassion, and modern medicine. For major colors I tend to prefer blues, greens, tans, and grays. The logo should look clean and not too busy so it can be easily distinguished on a sign from the street if possible (otherwise we could not put the logo on the sign but would be ideal to have it there for consistency and branding purposes.
I have worked at other practices and have found them to be outdated and really would like to be able to show clients that we are good at what we do, recommend the best, and that we care.
The decor in the hospital will be mostly beachy / ocean colors and will will have a "naturalist" theme with displays of feathers, butterflies, different birds eggs, etc. to showcase nature and the animals that live in it.
I would like our hospital to be more "animal friendly" than most hospitals to try to minimize patient stress and anxiety while providing cutting edge medical treatment.
Updates
Hello all!
I have attached a file to my project with some logos that I have found and like for inspiration for you. I think I may have made some incorrect descriptions on my project and have adjusted to try to give a better description of what I am looking for- particularly more elegant designs. I would love to see what you can come up with!!
I have an idea that I am hoping someone can try out...what about having a Tree with a large cross in the center of it overlapping, and animals on the ground underneath it?
Thanks so much to all of those that have submitted ideas...you are all so talented!!! I'm not sure we've found just that right one yet but I know it is coming!

Could someone please try to do the idea I had posted in the last update and take a look at the pictures on the document I uploaded. There are some tree graphics on there that I like the style of and would really love to see my idea come to life. I would like to see a tree that is modern and graphic in style (circles and swirling lines or something similar like a compilation of small graphics as the leaves/branches - see attachment to project for ideas). Then take a large cross and superimpose it over the tree so the top three arms of the cross are within the branches/leaves and the bottom arm is within the trunk. Then put a dog and cat on either side under the tree and a bird on the tree.
