Logo Design Brief

We need a logo design for a new website called Cunning Alchemy. The focus of the website is on craft spirits, craft cocktails, and the culture around both. We would like for the logo to reflect the creativity involved in the recent revolution of craft distillation as well as the history behind alchemy (a seemingly magical process of transformation, creation, or combination). The logo should be able to work well with a dark website design as well as be able to be used on social media sites as both a profile image and a watermark. An example tag line for the website and social media accounts is: Exploring the spirit world one craft cocktail at a time!

Target Market(s)

The target audience for this logo is consumer & professionals within the alcohol/ar industry. As the focus is on craft spirits, the audience will tend to frequent craft cocktails bar and higher-end establisments.

• This logo should incorporate color for impact.

Nice to have

• As much as possible I would like the logo to emphasize the visual/art aspects and minimize text/.

Should not have

• I would prefer for the logo to not reflect the style of any larger well-known beer/wine/spirit company (e.g. Bacardi, Jack Daniels, Cuero, etc.). The focus of this blog/website/company is on smaller craft spirits, and I would prefer for the logo to be similarly unique.
