Logo Design Brief
We would like some ideas for a new logo around our company's Corporate Citizenship program and a new initiative we are embarking on.
By way of background, a few years ago we created a firmwide Corporate Citizenship program and along with that, a logo especially for the program to be used on our materials, internal website, flyers/posters, etc. Our program was created to provide a positive impact both internally (retention, culture) and externally (community involvement and assistance, client relations and brand awareness). We created a platform and mission around our program, pasted below, our focus is on youth and education development

We strive to empower our employees skill-based volunteering efforts, provide charitable giving from our foundation, and promote thought leadership to effectively drive positive change within our local communities.
Platform:
To focus our endeavors and deepen our impact, Navigant has established a firmwide platform to empower the leaders of tomorrow. Navigant employees are committed to creating opportunities for young people to grow, develop and collaborate. Through mentorship alliances, local partnerships with schools across the country, participation in Junior Achievement and Reading to Kids, our local offices drive positive change in their communities and help to enhance the education and development of young people in the geographies where we operate.
In 2012, we will be embarking on a new initiative that not only supports Navigant’s Corporate Citizenship platform of education and youth development, but will also bring our efforts and impact under one campaign – 1M x 2020. Navigant commits to positively impacting 1 million youth in our communities by the year 2020 by better preparing them for higher education and the workforce. Through the 1M x 2020 campaign, we will focus many of Navigant’s Corporate Citizenship initiatives on programs that benefit:
a) Benefit non-profit organizations that support the development of our youth; including, but not limited to, those focused on education and exposure outside of the schools; innovative methods of teaching and learning; career-planning and workforce readiness
b) Benefit non-profit organizations that address the basic needs of children and their families, such as health and wellness, financial stability, etc.
c) Benefit non-profit organizations that direct their attention to building self-confidence, self-reliance, creativity and entrepreneurship in children and young adults.
With this approach, we can positively impact children in the communities where we all work and live; apply our own individual skills and passions; and work together as one group to better prepare 1M children for college and/or the workforce. Our individual and group contributions will merge together to positively grow and impact tomorrow’s leaders.
We are looking for a logo for the 1M x 2020 initiative, something we can use on all of our materials about the program to help promote both internally and externally. We woudl like something that goes along with our already created Corporate Citizenship logo (see attached)
