Logo Design Brief

We need a logo for our modern brand of baby, household, beauty & pet products. Our brand name is "Geo" and we will be manufacturing Nursing Pads, Baby Bottles, Baby Wipes, Cotton Swabs, Cotton Pads, kitchen compost bags, pet safety gates etc... We would like to see some "pastel" colours as per the attached. This is just a concept, so please feel free to use other colours if you have something different in mind.

The tagline for the logo will be "live life inspired". The brand and logo should speak to young parents and young pet owners (our target demographic).

The logo will be used on packaging and creative (website, brochures etc...)

As we expand our offering, we would be looking to have a consistent logo that we can add categories too. Long term, we could have a family of "geo" brands, including:

Geo Baby
Geo Home
Geo Beauty
Geo Pet

Requirements

Must have

• Please try to stick to designs that are CMYK +4.
• should be easy to read
• should look cool even if printed in grayscale
• The ideal logo would have the word "geo" spelled out and would be easy to read. It would be made up of geometric shapes inside of the letters.
• The ideal logo would also have an icon (perhaps a "G" that could also live on it's own on packaging or patterns on products etc...).
• For the different categories, it would be good if we can have small icons that can bring associations to the regular logo.
• Geo Baby - regular Geo logo with a baby in the corner.
• Geo Home - regular Geo logo with a house
• Geo Beauty - regular Geo logo with a woman applying makeup
• Geo Pet - regular Geo logo with a pet in the corner.
• These are just ideas... please feel free to be creative.
• This would also give us the ability to use the "G" logo with the specific category for print materials or for less formal branding materials.

Nice to have

• I like the "C" logo I've attached because it is:
• 1) colourful
• 2) has internal shapes but is still
• 3) easy to read

Should not have

• it should not be too sophisticated that it makes it difficult to read.
