Logo Design Brief
I am a divorce attorney and need a logo for my law firm. My initials are "C" (chris) and "H" (hildebrand). The name of the law firm is Hildebrand Law. I like three dimensional logos that utilize effects such as lighting, shadowing, mirroring etc. I want a strong modern logo (i.e., hotel chic meets elements of a traditional look). I have incorporated the letter "H" in my current logo, but am not tied to that idea. Some other ideas that came to mind were the use of puzzle pieces to relay the idea of putting your life back together after divorce or chess pieces representing a smart/strategy feeling to the logo, but please don't constrain yourself to that imagery if you have more creative ideas. I don't want anything that conjours the negative emotions relating to a divorce (i.e., images of a broken heart or weddings rings broken apart etc). I am looking for a strong, confident, and modern feeling logo. I like colors like bronze, brown, amber, gold and black for the logo. I am not locked into the logo text below, so feel free to provide your ideas.

Project Deadline Extended
Reason: I have looked at many great designs and, after reviewing those designs, determined my original paramaters were too weighted towards modern and masculine. The designs I determined I liked the most blended elements of a masculine theme softened by elegent accents. I am definately moving away from the "chess pieces" and "puzzle pieces" logos. Lastly, I am sure I want a logo that focuses upon the letter H (for Hildebrand Law). I would still like to see uses of shadowing and mirroring/reflection of the logo to create a three dimensional look to the logo.
