Web Design Brief

We need to design an ecommerce website for a medical device company that specializes in orthodontics. With being a medical company, we will need to have two experiences for when a user visits our site. One for a non-registered user that will not show an pricing for the products and the other for a registered user that will show the price of the product. Ideally we would like a clean, modern design that utilizes our colors and is also is mobile friendly.

The current website: henryscheinortho.com may be used a guide for the type of content and colors we used, but does not need to adhere to it.

Main colors to keep are the ones in the logo. Red, Blue and White.

Requirements

Must have

• Homepage, Product Family page, Product page and Contact Us Page. The design should work with any PC or mobile device to keep the user experience consistent.

Nice to have

• The apple.com website has a great feel to it and it would be nice to have something similar. Also, video is starting to become a big part of what we use to advertise and educate users about our products. It would be nice if we can incorporate video we possible to give users the ability to view them.

Should not have

• The design should be easy for users to navigate and use to locate the product they are interested in. It should not be confusing or too cluttered were a user can get lost.
