Logo Design Brief

We are looking for a logo design for a new small carpentry business - DKW Constructions - specialising in renovations, extensions, some handyman services and subcontracting on new builds. We’re based in Toowoomba, Queensland
We want the logo to be “blokey” enough for a carpentry/ building business, but eye-catching and modern enough to gain attention and sophisticated enough to give off an air of professionalism.
We're not really into masses of colour – we are looking for more blacks, greys, whites and maybe a small amount of light blue.
We were thinking the "DKW" would be large, with "CONSTRUCTIONS" in capitals smaller underneath. But we're open to suggestions!
