Logo Design Brief

I am an independent consultant that helps companies implement new software systems (mostly for HR and Finance departments, for a system called Workday). I need a logo and business card (and shortly a powerpoint template and website) that conveys a professional leadership vibe. Some more about what I do: manage different groups of people - clients, vendors, technical developers, HR people and executives; I spend a lot of time working with execs to make sure they understand the project, and also making sure that vendors are doing what they are supposed to be doing. I also deal with a lot of metrics - budgets, open issues, software bugs, etc. - so I'd like to convey strong process-based capabilities, without looking overly scientific.

Basically, I keep projects on time and on budget, and make sure it is configured appropriately and working as designed, while keeping numerous parties informed about progress. I'll attach a few examples of infographics that are in the ballpark of what I'm looking for.

I don't have any ideas on color or fonts, other than I'd like it to be sleek, clean, and relatively simple with some pops of color. I like the Stuart Mayhew example attached, but I'm not married to it. But something similar to is, with some orange highlights incorporated could look awesome. Requirements

Must have

• Sleek, professional look, without being overly mathematical or rigid. Simple, subdued colors. Something that portrays working with HR and Finance teams, and getting the job DONE. Remember that I manage the very complicated process of managing multiple teams and technical vendors.

Nice to have

• Room for a tagline that pops.

Should not have

• Bright, obnoxious colors or graphics.
