Character Design Brief
We are launching a new website called Doctors Impossible, based on the work of the real world scientists, Dr Chris Gilbert and her husband, Dr. Eric Haseltine. The focus of the site is exploring and discovering the "impossible" in ourselves and the world around us.
You can learn more about the project at www.doctorsimpossible.com/home
We are looking to create super-hero-esque caricatures for both Dr Gilbert and Dr Haseltine. We want the caricatures to bear a resemblance to both of the real life doctors, but have a super-hero-like appearance. We also want to make sure that they have an element of science to them to reflect their "Doctor" brand.
Once we establish base caricatures for each Doctor, we will want to have 4-5 different versions with them in different poses, etc that we can use in different places on the website.
We've attached real life pictures of both doctors here. You can also take a look at the website (www.doctorsimpossible.com/home) to get a sense of the web environment in which they will "live." The superhero characters that are currently on the site are merely placeholders for the new ones you will design. . . and aren't necessarily guides for the illustrations.
