Logo Design Brief

A long-time singer/songwriter looking for a personal logo for branding of my name. Musical style is Americana/pop. Think Cold Play meets, John Mellencamp with a little Tom Petty thrown in. Logo needs to be easy to read and classically cool. I don't want anything childish or cliche's. I would like the logo to be memorable and associated with my theme of music. I rely on acoustical guitar and piano but do not need the logo to reflect that. I do not want only guitar type logos, but if it is included I will consider it. I have provided a couple of pics of ideas that intrigue me, but I am really looking for a free thinking individual to come up with something cool. Thanks!

• I want it to be easy to read, create an immediate impression through shape, color and design. I am in my 40's so looking for something that is not kiddie or cute but classically cool.

Nice to have

• I want the name to be recognized as two names but spoken and understood as one. Maybe play with the upper and lower case letters such as CJray or CjRay.
