Logo Design Brief

We need a logo for a new company called anglemd. We develop web applications that plug into a larger electronic medical record application. The software helps physicians and nurses document a patient visit while getting useful clinical and administrative feedback on what might be needed for the patient (or for reimbursement).
We are currently hoping for a simple/elegant design that communicates ease of use, simplicity, and reliability. If the logo were to have a 'techy' edge to it, that would be great too.
We've played around a bit with something along the lines of "<angle.md>"(evocative of HTML), but we are open to ideas. (Please see attached image).
Because this is a new company, we don't have any color constraints, so long as the goals above are met.
Likewise, it would be ok to play around with the letter casing and have "angle" and "md" in different colors.
