Hi everyone,
We haven guaranteed payment for this project. We have also updated our design brief with 2 key elements:
1) We are partial to colours from nature the reflect the Australian bush (earthy colours - greens, ochres etc). We are also interested in black/white logos.
2) We have a preference for softer, round logos. The logo should avoid squares, rectangles, hard edges and anything that looks corporate.
Thanks so much for all your efforts thus far.
Best wishes,
amy

Hi there,
Sometimes it's hard to describe what we're looking for in a logo with words. I wanted to share a logo as an example. You can view the logo:

or

This logo belongs to another organisation so we obviously can not have anything that's too similar. However, I thought it could provide a nice sense of the types of things we like.
This logo is appealing because:
- the colours are striking but earthy
- it has a sense of movement
- it has a subtle connection to nature
- it's gentle
- it's very unique
I hope to see more designs from you soon!
Best wishes,
amy
hi
any modifications or feedback?
Hello all you brilliant designers,
I wanted to thank you for all the work you've put into the Commonground logo and give you an update of where we're at in our decision. I need to take all the logos submitted and run them by our logo committee and the top few logos past our broader membership. Given Christmas and new year holidays this process has been delayed. Our processes can also be time consuming because the organisation is run primarily by volunteers. It may take a few months for us to get a final decision. Please accept my apologies in advance for any delays.
I will certainly keep you updated as we progress.
Thank again for your hard work and your patience. Wishing you all the best for 2018!
Best wishes,
amy

We are now VERY close to having a winner. Sorry again for being SO very slow! We're just confirming our decision and pulling together the last bits of feedback. I hope to announce the winner late next week.
Hello there.
Once again I need to apologise for our slow progress.
I wanted to let you know that we have selected our preferred design and are just working with the designer to tweak the final product before we close our this project. All going well, we will pay the desire and close the project our in the next couple of weeks.
Thank you so much for all the ideas and effort you have put into this process. We are very grateful.
Best wishes,
amy
