Logo Design Brief

I need a logo for my new dog training business, Two Brown Dogs. My business will be based in a high socio-economic area and my target market are well-off time-rich retirees, well-off but time-poor families or couples and veterinary surgeries who are also based is this area. I will be providing in-home dog training services, puppy pre-school classes, etc. I was thinking of using a brown and pale blue colour scheme, but I'm open to other suggestions. I would like a design which is modern, elegant and professional. No cartoon dogs, please! I will need a logo which I can use for business cards, brochures, website, FB, instagram, etc.
I envisage the logo to use the words Two Brown Dogs. The phrase Canine Behaviour and Training may be added as sub-text.
