Logo Design Brief

Our company, Port Technologies, needs a logo design. Our primary offering is hosted communications, but we also resell Internet and Wide Area Network connectivity, a host of network services, and develop computer telephony integration applications on our hosted UC platform. The word Port was chosen because our business is located in Florida, and a Port has a connotation of safe harbor, depicting a customer can trust and depend on our company, and resupply before a long journey, depicting a customer can expect us to provide the services and technology they will depend on for the coming years. It also references the physical port for network connectivity, and the logical port an application communicates over. The design should essentially communicate aspects of the former relation to the word Port, but also of people communicating and connecting if possible.
