Logo Design Brief

hi, i would like a bold logo which is short sweet and simple and easy to read but catches the eye as it will be on vehicles driving around. I'm a field service diesel mechanic who does heavy equipment maintenance on exploration drill rigs and many other pieces of heavy equipment, I'm not sure if i want picture of a drill in the logo yet as it starts to look a bit to much to read and can possibly lock me into 1 area of work. i want it to say 'Mcquarrie contracting" and possibly something else under neath if it fits and looks right .i just want people to see the logo read it quickly and remember it, the image i have tagged in which reads "diesel west" i really like so something in that area of logo design! my company is also a pty ltd listed company.

• not much writing or to much going on and not to many colours! needs to be short and sweet but bold enough and simple enough to read and remember
