Logo Design Brief

I would like to create a blog called NOMAD BY DESIGN

THE LOGO:
Needs to be:, NOMADIC, STYLISH and CLEVER, INTERNATIONAL and FLUID - A FEELING OF MOVEMENT

I'm thinking, Flying carpet, nomad's tent, globe, camel, interesting use of these images in the wording

WHAT DESIGNS I LIKE:The tag line underneath NOMAD BY DESIGN is " Inspirational Ideas - International Interiors"

My interior design is eclectic but definitely a more contemporary style - more Dutch/Scandinavian clean interiors than English or American.

WHO AM I?

I am Australian but have spent more than 20 years as an expat living around the globe with my husband and kids includiing Asia, Australia, America, Europe and now Latin America.

WHAT'S MY BLOG ABOUT?

I want to create a blog that encompasses my two passions - interior design and writing (I'm an ex-journalist from Sydney). I want to use my knowledge about moving houses (whether rental or bought) and show how to make a house into a home by creating interesting interiors - using what you have and incorporating items you've bought in your travels to make it feel like a home and not just somewhere you dump your furniture until the next job posting comes along.

Within this, I would also like to feature beautiful interiors of houses around the world - some will be my friends homes who are also expats but other pictures will be of general homes that have interiors that appeal to me and hopefully my audience.

I want to have tips for people when they're moving. Many families find themselves relocating to other countries for work and I want to inspire them to make their homes more beautiful using the furniture they have or incorporating items they've bought from different cultures and combining them to make a comfortable but stylish environment.

What I'm trying to do is reach out to these people and explain, based on being an expat for 20 years and living abroad in many different countries, what I've seen and experienced in people's homes. I also want to inspire them by showing them homes from many different countries so they can use ideas they see on my blog to create their perfect environment.

I'm open to colours but want to keep the logo clean so give me some ideas and we'll see what comes out.

The logos I've included in the brief are not to be copied - simply an idea of what I've seen and think are ok

Side note: While I've included pictures of camels etc - I appreciate that many designers have incorporated these images you can also think a bit outside the box - bedouin tents, maybe a bit more fluidity so suggest movement and a global aspect

• Clean lines, stylish logo but clever - you can have a bit of fun with it but no cartoons please

Nice to have

• individual design not just rehashing old logos

• over the top swirls, garish design, too much detail
• This is a personal blog and I am not interested in something that looks too sharp or corporate
