I have written a young adult novel called "Callan". It's about a unique young 16 year old girl who becomes a Helper, in conjunction with a Sprite called Seela. She is based in Zambia in Africa. I plan to publish the book on-line and need a great cover. The cover will be seen in full and also as a thumbnail. Synopsis attached - target market would be young females aged from about 10 - 16.
Updates
thanks for all your efforts so far. Thought I should clarify that Callan is a 16 year old European living in Africa so she is not actually African. Can I also ask that you please submit a thumbnail size image of the cover as well so I can see what it would look like on Amazon. Can you please use just my initials for author name - T.R Walker (not Theresa). Thanks!

Project Deadline Extended
Reason: feel that you have all provided some great work but I need a little bit more time to decide on exactly what my focus needs to be in terms of target audience - I was thinking females aged about 10 to 16 but may be that I should allow myself to target a wider audience, to include older females especially but also some males. The other strong character in the book is a young man called Sam. It is Callan's task as a Helper to lead Sam to safety so he features in alternating chapters until their paths cross when she rescues him ... So I would like a bit more time to decide whether to go with quite a feminine design or something a little less targeted ... So thanks for all your hard work - getting there ,,, I will give more feedback this week to you individually.

Requirements
Must have
- the title of the book - Callan, and my name as author
Should not have
- Don't want just a picture of the girl Callan - perhaps more of a silhouette or line representation of her as she needs to exist in the reader's imagination
