Logo Design Brief
Design my sign/logo incorporating a grid pattern with a repurposed salvage/ industrial/steampunk look (i.e., decorative vintage round manhole/water meter cover look - see uploads). I'll be crafting waffled food. Whether omelettes, mac 'n cheese, tater tots, poutine, sliders, panini or ice cream sundaes, everything is made on a waffle iron; thus the grid pattern. The cafe will be in Ocean City, NJ, and called "Off The Grid." I prefer lowercase lettering with "off the" smaller in size and centered atop the very prominent word "grid" in the circle. The initial letter G in grid could be lowercase if the g is the right font, or a very fancy initial G. See uploads.
Updates
I have been working with one particular designer almost exclusively. Very responsive and forthcoming with all requested tweaks and changes. There was never really a question in my mind that this designer would be the ultimate winner. Today, on the last day of the competition, a new designer submitted something that I like very, very much. I have gotten feedback from friends and family, which has not helped in swaying my decision either way. They're 50/50. I am seriously considering the 1st place/2nd place option. Bear with me. This has been a wonderful experience. Thank you so much.

Must have
- a grid pattern, preferably round with logo in the circle; the words "off the" smaller and centered above a large, prominent word grid; a smaller ocnj or OCNJ on the bottom, less prominent, as if a hashtag afterthought (my hashtag being #otgocnj).
Nice to have
- ROUND decorative manhole cover look. A font that catches the eye (vintage advertising types, swirls and embellishments okay, but no italics/cursive).
Should not have
- the color orange, a large-sized ocnj
