eBook Cover Design Brief

An eBook cover is needed for a spy thriller. Good books to reference are David Baldacci and James Patterson. We are after something cutting-edge, dramatic, stylish, and that stands out above the rest.

Title: The Black Lion: Satan's Kingdom (The Black Lion is the series).
Author: Anthony Karakai

The book is about a spy who goes undercover to stop an organ harvesting operation in Hungary. The name Anthony can be in white, and Karakai in shiny gold. Also feel free to make "The Black Lion" in shiny gold as well, and "Satan's Kingdom" in any way you think will look good (i.e. Red). Thick font would be good.

The winner of this will also have the privlege of creating the next 6 covers in the series, as they come about.

This project is suitable for designers who have experience creating eBook covers to Amazon's standard, and enjoy creating new, stand-out designs which really help the book stand tall above the rest.

Reason: Hi everyone, Thank you for the designs you have submitted so far. I've been advised that the best approach to this cover will be to follow the following book cover styles/illustrations. If a spy is to be placed on the cover, they should be an all-black silhouette. These are good exampels for the cover style: http://www.amazon.com/Light-Harry-Bosch-Michael-Connelly/dp/0446611638/ref=la_B000APETH0_1_10?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1384903538&sr=1-10 http://www.amazon.com/Innocent-David-Baldacci/dp/0446572985/ref=la_B000AQ0STC_1_5?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1384903541&sr=1-5 I have enjoyed seeing some of you include BUDAPEST and a SPY on the covers. It's very cool. Maybe also including a bloody scalpel, or heart, would compliment this greatly!

A design like this could also be good, where instead of the man's head, the white lion from the original cover could be used, and in the tear could be a spy running (black silhouette) and a bloody scalpel, or some Budapest imagery.
