App Design Brief
About the app:
The app is named "Aiming Cheat for Angry Birds". It helps a user aim the bird in the iPad game "Angry Birds."
Resolutions and graphic formats:
All graphics should come in two resolutions: 1 set of graphics to fill an iPad screen of 1024x768, and one to fill a double-resolution screen of 2048x1536
Each double-resolution image (double width and height) should have the same name as the smaller version, but with @2x in the name. (i.e. background.png and background@2x.png)
Each graphic should be a PNG file, and can use full-alpha transparency.
General look and feel:
Make the design fun, appealing, and fit in well with the app functionality. Consider using bright colors or anything else you can create! Look up the Angry Birds HD game to get the feel for it, too.
There is no need to stick to the layout in the attached pencil mockups. Feel free to design the interface any way you would like (after all, you are the creative one!), while including the functionality shown on the attached mockups.
For your mockups:
In your submitted mockups, please include a mockup of the main menu screen, the store, and the "help" screen, so I can get a feel for your design.
Additional Information:
The selected artist must be flexible in adapting the final design slightly after the contest is completed, during the app development process (maybe a few small modifications over a 2 month period).
Please do not include any copyrighted images in your deliverables. Also, in your mockup, please let me know if there are graphics that would need to be licensed from stock images.
The selected artist may get the opportunity to produce artwork for similar apps in the future.
The different birds used in Angry Birds can be seen at http://iphone.appstorm.net/how-to/entertainment-how-to/meet-the-birds-angry-birds-tips-and-strategies/ (maybe you can use this in the store design)
I only attached one of the 6 help screens. If you are selected as the artist, I will provide the remaining help screens.
Final Deliverables:
Final deliverables will include a loading screen (shown when the app is loading), the main menu screen, the store design, the "aiming screen," a relevant app icon (512x512 and then scaled down to various smaller sizes), and the help screens (about 6 help screens).
