Logo Design Brief
We need a logo designed for a non-profit venture to support the rescue of pets (specifically dogs but also cats, horses etc) and the placing them with loving new owners. We have designed a range of 100% natural, locally sourced and organic products that will support new pet owners. These products will be worthy of the pets that use them and designed to help the new owners with their new pets.
The "Who rescues Who?" name came about from examples where people have taken on a rescused pets and how that pet goes on to make such an impact on the lives of the owner - one wonders who really rescues who?
The logo needs to convey the love and genuine caring behind the project - for the well being of animals and for the realisation of how importants pets are to teh owners and their families.
People caring for pets and pets caring for people. Who rescues who?
Who Rescues Who? is being created in support of rescues, ethical breeding of all animals and sound practices of labeling  product ingredients for animals as well as humans.
Many of the products are designed to assist the integration of rescue pets into their new homes and therefore many tackle the issue with odour. We hope that using products from Who Rescues Who - being told “You smell like a dog” is actually a good thing!
Our team is a combination of our family of long-time animal (dog) lovers with recipes that have been passed down for generations and industry specialists who ensure our products contain the best quality ingredients and performance with supporting evidence proving effectiveness.
The most important aspect of the logo is portraying the emotive relationship between the pet and the owner... and Who Rescues Who? to show that as pet owners our pets typically give more than they get and to help promote the adoption of rescues animals.
We are hoping to run a kickstarter campaign later this year. We created a "intro" video on vimeo (https://vimeo.com/230777907/84d3e5a40a) that uses the logo that we initially created... which I have uploaded. We initially liked the logo however when placed on the video it was obvious it looked unprofessional. We need a better logo.
Updates
Project Deadline Extended
Reason: This process is harder than we expected.
We need a bit more time to do justice to all the amazing designs.
We will also change the project to guaranteed as w will definitely pick a winner... but which one???????

It is for pet lovers. There is an epidemic in pets (especially dogs) abandoned or mistreated by owners and end up being rescued and in need to re-housing. This is an issue that all loving pet owners needs to get behind.

Requirements
Must have
- This venture is 100% genuine and caring. The logo needs to reflect this. The venture name is quite long and wordy so the logo should be easily recognisable (even without the words - but for now the words are needed)
Nice to have
- It is a very emotive subject so the logo needs to be emotive and show the emotion. All our packaging will be ethical so ideally the logo shouldn't be overly complex - so it suits this type of packaging.
- Optional but nice to have... if the logo could be easily adapted into a stencil than that is a bonus.
