Logo Design Brief

My audience is the ethical and conscious individual.

This is a blog/website is about recipes, food, health, culture, interesting and unique places to see, and about mainly connecting people through those means. I already have a website that has recipes and some articles, but i am changing it to also include culture, where to find unique items in various places, talk about people's lifestyle, their food, their health, connecting people where to find unique foods in your area that are not in the grocery story. Unique items to buy in a place you are visiting. Strong focus will remain on food and recipes.

Requirements

Must have

• The full name of the website "eat and connect" . If you think it's wise to sometimes include & instead of "and", please consider in logo, but I want users to know to find my website you have to type "and"
• I imagine a logo that is going more horizontal than vertical as that fits the design of my website.

Nice to have

• I imagine a simple logo that has some color in it. It would be nice to also see a logo that cleverly portrays the connection. I like various colors, but the colors that stand out to me are orange, black, green and blue.
• I put the examples because I had to. I really don't know what I envision my logo, so please don't stick to those examples. I do imagine a logo with horizontal text and words clearly shown. I imagine some color but not over done.

Should not have

• I don't like cursive text that much but I am willing to see options if you have a good idea. I do not want a black and white logo only.
• My website has a white background, so please do not provide me white logos or logos that look good only on colored backgrounds.
• Also, please do not provide me logos that look too playful and colorful.
