Logo Design Brief

This logo is for a charity fund raising project. I intend to try and see the whole of New Zealand from the air - painting a map pink in the process. This is a bit trickier than it sounds as it will be done in a glider that has no engine :) The project will involve travelling around New Zealand to visit all the different gliding clubs, organising flights from each of these and then flying over as much of the country as possible. Whilst I hope to be able to see the whole country it may not be possible depending on the weather.

Primary goals:
- Fund raising for Parkinsons research
- Increasing awareness of gliding
- Encouraging more women into aviation, in particular gliding

The logo will be displayed on an interactive website (www.paintnzpink.com) that will show my progress, along with pictures and videos of NZ from above. There will also be a blog with explanations and discussions. The logo will also be displayed on the side of my glider trailer (8m x 1.5m)

Considerations
- Colours must not be too similar to the Breast Cancer
- No specific colour scheme has been chosen
- There is no requirement to have text in the logo as long as it symbolises the project
- Pink was chosen because it works well in the phrase 'Paint NZ....', not because of a particular liking for the colour pink!
- I'm only going to try and cover the two main islands - North and South Island
