Logo Design Brief
We have three pictures that we would like turned into a logo design for an annual historic Victorian-era dance & costume event.
- We'd like the dancing kangaroos to wear a hat and a bonnet, and then the name of the event to be underneath.
- Can you try to keep as much of the picture of the kangaroos as possible.
- Keep the kangaroos as a colour photo, not a solid colour silhouette
- Please make sure all wording is easy to see/read.
Please see our event page at http://www.earthlydelights.com.au/dance-events/upcoming to see pictures from our last event so you are aware of what we are talking about.
We’ll dance for 3 hours every morning and 3 hours every evening and in between everyone enjoys cave tours, river walks, thermal-pool-swimming, games, sleeping, cooking and eating. We dress in historic Victorian-era costume most of the time.

Can you get this bonnet and top hat to go on these kangaroos- then they’d look like a Victorian couple dancing. I tried to find hats at the right angle for it to work if you can cut them in somehow.
I think the bonnet and hat are at the right angle, so that if you cut their background away and shrink them, they might fit perfectly on the two heads. You might need to either extend the lawn up higher behind the kangaroos so the bonnet and hat look like they are inside the picture. I think it might be nice to keep all in full colour. Girl kangaroo with bonnet on left, boy kangaroo with top hat on the right.
Nice to have
- Nice to use the colours from our Earthly Delights Banner, making sure yellow is a rich old gold tone.
Could use colours from the photo of the 1901 Homestead that we will be staying in as well.
Needs to be easy to read on logo and on t-shirt
Can also be using Victorian-era borders and scrolls - can look old-fashioned, almost steampunk.
