Logo Design Brief

We need a logo design for a new company based in Portland Oregon the provides a new, patented technology solution for mobile application security. The name of our company is "Knoxen" which represents the two concepts 1) "secure as Fort Knox" and 2) something yoked together and strong like "oxen". We want a logo that represents infallible security, strength, and a secure, strong connection between two things. Because Fort Knox is a gold repository, I'd like to see options with gold. I would consider both an image and then the word Knoxen or have the image be the "K" within the word. Both are possibilities.

potential clients (tech companies, mobile app developers, etc.) and potential investors (venture capitalists, angel investors)

Please add a sub caption "The future of mobile security" under the name "Knoxen. Should the sentence be caps or lowercase? We want this to look modern and innovative like our product. One way to do this is to have the logo, name, and caption on one the left half of the card and then all the personal details on the right half. On the back, the logo, name and co. url: www.knoxen.com in larger font.

Requirements

Must have

• If you use gold in the logo, don't use anything over the top garish.. subtle and classy. I also like darker backgrounds - deep charcoal contrasting with the gold.
• Font: Simple and modern (sans serif only). I like open sans as an example but show me something cool I haven't seen! Basically, we want this to look profession, modern but not showy - emphasis on new, innovative, game changer, security. Colors: I did not select on the chart but please see notes.

Nice to have

• The two sides of the card can be different, complimentary colors - it could be a soft white on the back with the gold for example. open to possibilities.

Should not have

• Nothing folksy or too literal (oxen, gold bars, etc.). Serif fonts.
• Nothing sized too far out of the ordinary - standard or maybe just a bit larger but no odd shapes
